A historical and social research on the origins of families in Merjayoun and its surroundings, Hasbia and the Alrkoub, Wdi Al Taim, starting with Rashia Al Foukhar. It covers origins immigration, migration, historical events, traditions and settlement in South Lebanon. The historical events cover the period between the Crusades the twentieth century. The book forms a link between the past and the present and between the local population and their extended families all over the world. Individual families of this region may find it suitable to expand and update the information and probably construct a family tree using the basics offered in this book.
